Reason: Oh dear, what possessed me to do this girly frilly thing!? Well for starters, I couldn't get "Otome no Inori" out of my head for months. Finally it really grew on me and the episode it appeared in is one of my favorite filler ones from the season. The outfits are rather cute, if a little to girly for my taste, but that was the fun of it. In fact we started calling it Project Girly Frills for the LOLZ. Oh good times.

notes:
I made both of the costumes in about a week. Craziness I know. I used casa and lamour satins for the skirts, bows, bodice trim, and ankle straps. The bodices are made of lycra and have removable straps to help keep up the dresses when we are walking around. The necklaces are just satin ribbon with velcro and a bow. The gloves were dyed to match our outfits and I'm really happy with how they came out since this was my first dying project. The shoes were purchased at Payless (yea two for one sale!) and painted to match. The head antennas are my favorite part and are COVERD in glitter. I'm going to be shaking glitter out of my wig for days. The wands were made by the Amelia in the picture, and are also smother in glitter.
