Reason: The Devil May Cry series is one of my favorite game series. Since I can't really cosplay Dante that well, maybe I can catch one if I'm Lady right? That and I want to branch out from Sailor Moon plus this character will be loads of fun to cosplay as! Yeah for oversized guns and small girls! C'on how often do you get to be a demon hunter right?

Construction Notes: First costume where I had to make an oversized prop. In real life my gun stands over 5 feet tall and thus is taller then me even with my boots on. Even though it looks heavy, the gun is farily light since it is made of PVC pipe, foam board, craft foam and dowel rods. Spray paint and acrylics were used to paint it. Is used a rayon-cotten blend to make the shirt, which I used a modified parttern to make it. Shorts and sock tops are made of purple spandex. Gun ammo belt and ammo packs are made of upholstery leather. My own patterns were used. Leg and shoe belts also made of upholstery leather and I was lucky enough to find buckles to use with them. Shoes were originally silver and were spray painted red with shoe paint made specifically for vinly and leather. I found mine at a local shoe store lucky enough. Gloves were made of a spandex pleather from my own pattern. Wig purchased from Cosworx and cut and styled by myself.
